Remove The Charcoal Water Filter Holder And Permanent Filter and leave the brew basket in place.

Get the Cleaning Solution Ready: Mix the cleaning solution with water following the instructions on the package. An ideal mixture ratio of water and white vinegar is 1:1, which means with 1  litre of water you’ll have to mix 1 litre of white vinegar.

Prepare the coffee maker: Now you’ll put the mixed solution from step 2 and put it into the water tank of your Braun coffee maker. Then you should also put an empty coffee pot under the drip spout of the coffee maker. This is where the coffee usually drips into when brewing.

Get the Cleaning Solution Ready

Start the Cleaning Program: Press the CLEAN button on your coffee maker. Some Braun models may require you to press the BREW button after that. 

During the Cleaning Program: Once the cleaning program begins, you can’t stop it, and it usually takes about 45 minutes. 

When the Cleaning Program Is Done: When the green LED light turns off, it means the cleaning program is finished.  

Clean the Coffee Pot: Empty the used cleaning solution from the coffee pot and give it a thorough cleaning with fresh water.

Rinse the Coffee Maker: Run two to three cycles with clean water to wash away any remaining cleaning solution.
